One day a fox went to a stork, and asked him to pull out a large bone that was stuck in his throat. He promised to give him a large some in exchange for this. The stork agreed, and putting his head into his mouth, drew it out. Once the bone was extracted, the stork demanded the promise amount from the fox. But the fox grinned, and exclaimed, ‘’Why, he already had a sufficient reward in having been permitted to draw out your head safely from the jaws of it!’’
