A jar of honey was overturned in a room and a number of flies were attracted to it. The flies placed their feet in it and greedily ate it. However, after a while, their feet were smeared with honey to such an extent that he could not move. They were unable to release himself and thus got suffocated. One of the flies who was about to die, exclaimed, “O foolish creatures that they are, for the sake of a little pleasure they have destroyed ourselves!”
